This Sunday a plethora of Londons’ food and drink blaggers (also known as bloggers) will descend on the Hawksmoor steakhouse in Liverpool Street for a feast to remember. But this time they will be cooking rather than critiquing. Imagine a five course dinner with matched drinks using only blagged produce. All proceeds will go to Action Against Hunger

Come and watch/laugh/waggle your fingers as blaggers take on the roles of cook, sommelier, front of house, prep, kitchen porter and cleaner. We’ll staff the bar, make the cocktails and the coffee and await your reviews with excitement and trepidation!

The menu will feature Chapel Down sparkling wine on arrival, Wagyu Beef and sustainable yellow kingfish among others. There will be music and there will be canapés. Vegetarians and people with dietary restrictions never fear – you will be catered for.

There will also be a blaggers’ auction, where we will be auctioning exciting items we’ve blagged (I say we, but I haven’t had much success on the blagging front yet, so I actually mean my very persuasive blogging colleagues). This auction will be two fold, a portion of it on the night, and the rest in the weeks following.
